Volunteer Experience

Technovation Challenge - Mentoring a group of four girls, age between 10-12, to develop a mobile app called “Lift”, that tries to solve the problem with pre-teens that are affected by a range of emotional struggles. We shared our expertise and offered guidance in our specialist area, acted as role models and champions for our team, and inspired the next generation.
Voluntari.ly - Hackfest – 2 days hackfest to help designing and building the start of Voluntari.ly, an online app that connects school with corporate volunteers and short technology course content, and is supported by The Big Shift, an initiative lead by Datacom with the support of the Ministry of Education, Microsoft and many leading NZ corporates.
Engineers Without Borders - Open City Project – collaborate with Christchurch Council to create a database of free things to do in and around the city, that can be accessed via a website, app and a customized parking meter that will be located in Cathedral Square.
